Here’s a look at a recent inspection of a residential system: septic, treatment, and dose tanks, along with a review of the mound system and designated dispersal field.
During the inspection, we measure sludge and scum levels and check for cracks, leaks, or structural damage in the tanks and their components. The inlet and outlet baffles are inspected to ensure they are intact and functioning properly, reducing the risk of blockages or wear. The pump filter is cleaned during every visit to ensure reliable operation and prevent clogs. A visual inspection of the mound system confirms that effluent is being properly distributed, and observation ports are checked for flow and saturation levels. A quick look at the control panels confirms proper float operation and pump control. We also assess the drain field.
